First Up, D.C. will restart parking enforcement on June 1st. This will come after a year suspension due to the pandemic. D.C. government has already warned residents if your license expired during the pandemic you have until July 1st to renew. On the flip side, Mayor Bowser announced a 4-month amnesty program to give DC. drivers and non-D.C. drivers an opportunity to pay outstanding tickets. During this period, all penalties will be waived. This program will only last four months so make sure to get on it if this is you.
