Ari Lennox & Babyface? How about that DMV?!

From Grammy Award Winning Musician Wale to another legend, Babyface, the DMV is surely on fire.

Before we get to the good stuff, let’s discuss the Federal Mask Mandate for planes, buses, and trains which will extend until 2022. This comes as the population of COVID-19 infections rises into the fall.

Do you guys remember the trendsetting gogo group Mambo Sauce? Well, after years apart the group made their reunion debut this past weekend at the Secret Garden in SE. Now, would you be excited for the DMV’s own Dave Chappelle being the first-ever comedian to do a Verzuz Battle? Well, let’s keep our fingers crossed as fellow comedian Damon Wayans said he would be up for it. He actually said he would only do it if Dave would join him on the other end. How exciting is that?

So, it’s been raining here in the DC area for the past few weeks, but did you see the thunder and lighting hit the Washington Monument? Take a look now on BridgeTV.

Let’s move to sports. Kevin Durant aka “KD” rates himself a 99 on NBA2k and we agree with him wholeheartedly. Speaking of KD, remember the National Cannabis Fest is this weekend lol. Back to sports, the Capitals just announced their home-opener, which will be October 13th.

In financial news, Jefe aka Shy Glizzy just announced a huge play for businesses everywhere. That’s right, the Glizzy Gang announced a new business pitch competition called “Don’t Feed The Sharks” with a chance to win a $10k grant. Sign up now on dontfeedthesharks.com.

Now we mentioned it last week, but this weekend it goes down. Good Bar Crawls presents the “District of Casamigos” Bar Crawl. Party with the Hennessey of tequilas and enjoy an epic weekend of drinking, partying, and good vibes. Check out the line-up on BridgeTV.

Did you see the Wale tweet that made headlines about his greatness? Yes? Ok, well did you also see him in a recording session with DC’s own Chris TOB? Check both of these out on BridgeTV.

This weekend two of the DMV’s legends of music, Mya and Ginuwine, will be blazing the stage at the Lakeshore Amphitheater. If anyone is attending, please record for us, we love seeing our artists killing it!

Now the greatest news of the week! Babyface and Ari Lennox have been sen in the studio together. This monumental moment happened this week as photos appeared on social media via photographer Shaughn Cooper. Let’s just say our girl Ari is just doing the damn thing and we couldn’t be prouder.
