Fever Class, a Virginia-based organization, is set to host its third annual fashion show on Saturday, June 22, at 6 PM at The Toolbox (1627 Connecticut Ave. NW). The theme for this year’s event is “Bloom City,” symbolizing creativity that flourishes even in challenging environments.

The fashion show will spotlight six brands: Go Realer, The Good Shepherd, Ivory & Stone, Space Kitty Arts, RMA, and Hoodlvm. Notably, Deontre Hancock of Hoodlvm, a finalist on season 2 of Netflix’s “Next in Fashion,” and Reema Idris of RMA, featured in NYFW ’24 for MEFeater Magazine’s Galentine’s Day show, will present their designs.

“Bloom City” juxtaposes floral, green elements with metropolitan life’s gritty, industrial aspects. Zacharina Dainkeh, the producer and showrunner for the Fever Class fashion show, explained, “The contrast of these elements shows the grind and hustle that a creative pours into their craft. We wanted to highlight that in every aspect of our production and show people that something beautiful can come out of the DMV when a bunch of creatives grind together.”

The Fever Class fashion show is a testament to the power of passion and dedication. It stands out due to its entirely volunteer-based production team of over 100 DMV natives. This remarkable effort underscores the strong, passionate community Fever Class has nurtured over the past three years.

Tickets for the fashion show are available on Eventbrite. For updates on the show and other Fever Class events, follow their Instagram page, @feverclass. For additional information, contact PR & Marketing Manager Claire Ozah.

Fever Class, founded in 2022, is dedicated to establishing the D.C. metropolitan area as a hub of ingenuity and collaboration among creative professionals.
