Starting June 1st, the default speed limit on local roads in the District will be 20mph. That’s right, a decrease in the speed limit from 25 to 20 is causing quite the stir for residents as this speed limit is “too damn slow”.

Last, but not least The Washingtonian just let us know that beloved DC Wharf restaurant Del Mar has been forced to shut down after the staff walked out. Reasons for the walk-out included toxic management, racial biases, and bad tipping. Restaurants please listen up. Your employees are the most valuable thing you have in your company. Can’t we do better?

And, oh yeah DC area, watch out for cicada pee? We’ve heard the latest news in regards to our recent visiting creatures and apparently, they pee.
