Recording artist A1 Flow is rapidly generating a significant amount of local as well as national attention. A native of the Washington, D.C. area, the artist has become a highly sought out force in the area’s music scene, being featured online as well as in local radio shows and blogs. A1 Flow first came into the spotlight through the area’s Go-Go scene, gaining popularity from performances with the acclaimed bands TCB and Backyard.

A hip-hop artist primarily, A1 Flow is interpreting the genre through an eclectic lens, drawing inspiration from a wide range of musical forms, which include electronic dance music, pop as well as R&B. In his lyrics, the artist shares a wide spectrum of emotions and experiences, with an acute emphasis on self-realization and the appreciation of life. Through the medium of music, this artist hopes to inspire his peers to strive to do great, and seemingly impossible things. This personal vision drives his musical work.
A1 Flow has had several songs play on commercial radio stations and has been featured twice on WPGC 95.5 radio station’s DMV Spotlight segment, where he was interviewed on-air. The artist has also appeared on Washington, D.C.-based online radio station The Eddie Kayne Show. Additionally, he was interviewed on Chicago’s Fusion Radio WIIT 88.9FM.
In August 2019, A1 Flow appeared on Washington D.C. television station WUSA9’s DMV Soundcheck segment, where he performed his dancehall-inspired single, “Catching Vibes,” on live television.
In April 2020, his single, “With You,” was featured on New York City’s Hot97 radio station. In addition to radio play, the song, which was produced by Mark Henry, was featured in Downtown Locker Room stores all over the east coast. X
A1 Flow’s most recent single, “Graduation,” is an upbeat and melodic hip-hop record that has a celebratory vibe. You can hear it reflected in the lyrics as well as the anthemic instrumental. The music video is currently in rotation on BET Jams and is getting heavy airplay on major radio stations.
