Creatives from around the DMV came together for the Bridge Creative Salon held at Alice on U on February 9, 2023. Panelists Lyric Amodia of The Movement Street at Howard Universty, Aton Crawley of All Items Considered, Zahreh Baary of Bearings Mag, and Mahadi Lawal of BigFacts Magazine spoke on topics including:

  • Finding Opportunities in the Media and Art Space.
  • How to Create and Sustain Independent Publications
  • The Benefits of Being Based in Washington, D.C.

The Bridge Creative Salon’s purpose is to touch on some classic ideals of the Salon; great conversation and entertainment meant to elevate the participants. Amid a rotational group of presenters and entertainers, attendees will engage in topics focusing on the D.C. creative community.
